It is time for road trip - BRATISLAVA

After a short ride from Vienna, we finally arrived in Bratislava.

Firstly we went to our hotel, which was located somewhere near the city center. The hotel was actually a part of a monastery run by nuns. The ambient was very beautiful, quiet and clean. Because our arrival was very late we decided to stay in for the night.

Early in the morning, we started exploring Bratislava. Our plan was to check all the sights that were in or around the city center and to see all the outer ones later on. First stop was the beautiful Blue church. It’s a catholic church of St. Elizabeth and it’s located in eastern part of the old town.

Next, we walked to Old town hall, Primate’s Palace, Franciscan church and Monastery, St. Michaels gate, which are all located around the old city square. Here we ate the best and the sweetest dessert ever called Chimney cake. It’s a cone_shaped fried pastry filled with fruit, chocolate and ice cream.

Palffy Palace is one of the two historical buildings where The Bratislava City Gallery is housed. It holds permanent as well as temporary exhibitions of Slovak and international art. next stop was Parlament of Bratislava.

Day three in Bratislava. First stop was St. Martins Cathedral. After that, we went to see the castle. its very beautiful and the view from it is breathtaking. We continued our journey to Salvin, Synagogue, The J.A. Comenius University, and Vladislavst church.

Bratislava is very beautiful, but it was time to hit the road and go to Hungary - Budapest.
